Meet Hoodline's New Local Event Calendar

Looking for something fun to do in San Francisco this weekend?

Check out our new events calendar, featuring hundreds of upcoming local events throughout the city.

Event listings come from a variety of sources, including our network of roving writers, but primarily they come from you, our readers. So if you have a public event you want to list on Hoodline, submit it here. It's fun, and free! If approved, your event will appear on our calendar and in our news feed, and may be included in weekly event roundup stories as well.

We've got event listings in nearly every neighborhood in San Francisco, from Bayview to the Presidio, from the Ferry Building to the Zoo. You'll find some of the big stuff—festivals, concerts, parades and the like—but also neighborhood-level community meetings, block parties, art openings, and other hyperlocal events you might not see listed anywhere else.

Upcoming highlights include an Easter Eggstravaganza in Golden Gate Park, a Chinatown ghost tour, a Glen Park neighborhood festival, a farmers market cocktail party, an annual celebration of all things chocolate, and much, much more. In fact, we've published more than 2,000 event listings since the calendar launched just three months ago.

We'll be adding more features in the months ahead, like the ability to search through event listings, and subscriptions to weekly event digest emails. If you have other ideas or feature requests, please let us know!
